This Canadian training ship was sunk in a storm on February 17th, 2010 off the coast of Brazil. All aboard were saved. Oils 14"x20"

The Bermuda built Pickle took the news of the victory and the death of Admiral Nelson to London, the journey taking 9 days. October 1805.

BERMUDA 1609 - 2009
The first five are shown below. Other scenes will be of various activities during that first year
of settlement of the island in 1609. 
the settlers in Jamestowne, Virginia. During the voyage she was seperated from the other ships in a hurricane
and after 4 days was grounded off Bermuda just as the crew was about to give her up to the sea.

lodged between two rocks off the coast of Bermuda on July 28th, 1609.
The passengers are heading to shore in the two boats. They return over the next few days
and strip the ship of all usable material.
30"x40" - SOLD-

"Safely Ashore, July 28th, 1609". All passengers and crew of the Sea Venture safely make it to shore in Bermuda. While being thankful for their safe delivery, they are unaware of the historical significance of their shipwreck for the island.
24"x30" - $5,500 -

"Bermuda's First Settlement, July 1609". Following their shipwreck, the passengers and crew of the Sea Venture set up an encampment primarily of palmetto thatched huts. This would have been in the general area of Fort St. Catherine, St Georges.
20"x30" - $4,200 -

"The Building of 'The Deliverance', April 1610". In the 10 months after the shipwreck, the survivors build two ships to enable them to continue the voyage to Virginia. They eventually leave on May 10th, 1610, leaving three persons behind to secure the island.

"A Day in History, July 28th, 1609". 26"x30" - SOLD-

"Shipbuilding at Crawl Point, 1800's". This area of Bermuda was a major ship building centre, several ships would have been under construction at the same time in its heyday.
